Instrumentation cables are a type of electrical cable specifically designed for transmitting low-voltage signals from sensors, transmitters, and other devices to control systems or monitoring equipment. They have multiple layers of shielding to protect the signal from external electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). The shielding can be made of materials like aluminum foil, copper braid, or a combination of both.
